Second district of the VAr

The second district of the VAr is one of the 7 French legislative districts which account the department of the Var (83) located in area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure.

Geographical and demographic description

The second district of the VAr is delimited by the electoral Découpage of the law n°86-1197 of the November 24th 1986 , it gathers the following administrative divisions: Cantons of Toulon II, Toulon III, Toulon IV, Toulon VII, Toulon IX.

According to the general Census of the population in 1999, carried out by the National institute of the Statistics and Economic studies (INSEE), the total population of this district is estimated at 86685 habitants^,.
