The second district of the Puy-de-Dôme is one of the 6 French legislative districts which account the department of the Puy-de-Dôme (63) located in area Auvergne.

Geographical and demographic description

The second district of the Puy-de-Dôme is delimited by the electoral Découpage of the law n°86-1197 of the November 24th 1986 , it gathers the following administrative divisions: Cantons of Aubière, Billom, Clermont-Ferrand Southern, Clermont-Ferrand South-eastern, Cournon-in Auvergne, Bridge-of-Castle, Saint-Dier-in Auvergne, Vertaizon.

According to the general Census of the population in 1999, carried out by the National institute of the Statistics and Economic studies (INSEE), the total population of this district is estimated at 110976 habitants^,.
