Second district of the Haute-Saône

The second district of the Haute-Saône is one of the 3 French legislative districts which account the department of the Haute-Saône (70) located in area Franche-Comté.

Geographical and demographic description

The second district of the Haute-Saône is delimited by the electoral Découpage of the law n°86-1197 of the November 24th 1986 , it gathers the following administrative divisions: Cantons of Champagney, Héricourt East, Héricourt Western, Northern Lure, Southern Lure, Mélisey, Montbozon, Noroy-the-Borough, Rioz, Villersexel.

According to the general Census of the population in 1999, carried out by the National institute of the Statistics and Economic studies (INSEE), the total population of this district is estimated at 78508 habitants^,.
