Second district of Nievre
The second district of Nievre is one of the 3 French legislative districts which account the department of the Nievre (58) located in area Burgundy.
Geographical and demographic description
The second district of Nievre is delimited by the electoral Découpage of the law n°86-1197 of the November 24th 1986 , it gathers the following administrative divisions: Cantons of the Charity-on-Loire, the Cosne-Course-on-Loire Northern, the Cosne-Course-on-Loire Southern, Donzy, Guérigny, Pougues-the-Water, the Pouilly-on-Loire, Prémery, Saint-Amand-in-Puisaye, Varzy.
According to the general Census of the population in 1999, carried out by the National institute of the Statistics and Economic studies (INSEE), the total population of this district is estimated at 78382 habitants, .
