Sebastien Stoskopff was an Alsatian painter (born with Strasbourg the July 13rd 1597 - died with Idstein the February 10th 1657). Very appreciated at its time, he was regarded as one of the largest Masters of the Still life . Its work was redécouvert in the Années 1930. The Musée of Work Notre-Dame of her birthplace has a very beautiful collection of its tables.
