Sebastien Morlighem
Sebastien Morlighem is an artist and intellectual French, born on May 6th, 1971. At the same time painter, graphic designer, typographer, teacher, writer, editor and creator of a label discographic, its activities were multiple and varied and he escapes an easy classification.
He studied at the University Estienne (Paris) and worked like graphic designer.
Microédition
- Literature : it created, with the beginning of the year 1990, the editions Cordialité of Rust which published plates of Lucien Suel, Michel Valprémy & Sylvie Nève, Christophe Petchanatz etc
- " Graphzine " : it published the collection of mini-albums S2L' ART? , with titles of Willem, Got, Frederic Poincelet, Bruno Richard etc and a drawing per day of Bruno Richard (1993), like those of Eric Watier (1993, like for the group Dutch Trespassers W and published a book in collaboration with its singer Horn Taste (texts of this last and paintings of Morlighem). It also realizes, for example, the graphic charter and the covers of the review Minimum Rock'n'roll' Roll .
It continues to paint today.

Teaching
He currently teaches the typography and the history of the images with the University Estienne (Paris), with the University of art and design of Amiens (and, as from January 2008, like framing of a post-diploma in graphic design heading “graphic Systems, typography & language”) and higher Vocational school of the applied arts and of architecture of the town of Paris (EPSAA, Ivry on the Seine).He Co-coordinated the conference the book & his intentions with IMEC in Caen (14 at the 11/16/2007).
