Sebastien Martel
Sebastien Martel is a unclassable Guitariste, exploring and mixing various styles like the Jazz, the Rock, the American negro musics, West-Indian music, and he is also guide of varieties.
He is the guitarist of several artists, whose - m, Alain Chamfort, and Albin of Simone, and collaborated with Camille, Femi Kuti, Piers Faccini or Enrico Macias.
Sebastien Martel left in 2003 its first album solo: Ragalet , contraction of Rag (in reference to the style of music Ragtime) and of wafer (in homage to pastry makings of his/her grandmother). One can note on this disc of the participations of Franck Monnet, Camille, Cyril Atef and Vincent Ségal (Bumcello), and of Matthieu Chedid.
In parallel, it belongs to the group Las ondas hammer with his brother Nicolas and the double bass player Sarah Murcia, group of Latin-American music. It also belonged to the group Vercoquin, with Thierry Stremler. He also collaborated in many recoveries with the saxophonist Julien Lourau, in particular in the Olympic Gramofon and the Julien Lourau Groove Gang .
In 2006, it do its second album solo, Coitry leave? (under the name of Sebmartel) with the participation of Vincent Segal, Cyril Atef and M, Fred Chicken, Piers, Herve Salters or Vic Moan, it acts of an double album, made up of a part country and a part city ,
