The order of the Polygonales is an order of plants Dicotylédone S. In Classification of Cronquist (1981) it includes/understands only one family:

• Polygonacée S (family of the Joined again S)

For the phylogenetic classification, this order does not exist: this family is assigned with the order Caryophyllales .
