Sebald Fulco Johan Rau

Sebald Fulco Johan Rau (in Latin Ravius ) was a Orientaliste and a Dutch poet born in 1765 and died in 1807.

Born with Utrecht he professed with the Université of Leyde, and was Pasteur of the Walloon church of this city. He left:

  • Ewald and Elise
  • poeseos hebraïco prse drabum prostantia , Leyde, 1800
  • Of poetici facultatis excellentia, spectata in tribes poetarum principibus, scriptore Jobi, Homero and Ossiano , 1800.
