St Lawrence Seaway or Seaway or way of the the St. Lawrence .
Seaway is the English expression indicating the navigable axis arranged to connect the American Big lakes to the Atlantique by Saint Laurent. Since 1959, it is possible with an ocean liner to go up until the end of the Big lakes by a system of lock. In this case, the frontage extends on several thousands from kilometers towards the interior of the grounds, which makes it possible the Big lakes to be a maritime opening moreover for the the United States.
