Season LNH 1969-1970

The season LNH 1969 - 70 was the 53e regular season of the National league of hockey. Twelve team played each one 76 matches.

Regular season

Bobby Orr of the Bruins of Boston was the first defender of the history of the league has to gain the Trophée Art Ross while being the player marking the most not in the season. Finale of the Cut Stanley

For the third consecutive season, the Blues of Saint-Louis reach the final of the Coupe Stanley but this season they fall against the Bruins from Boston.

Those swept the Blues in 4 matches for their first cut in 29 years. Bobby Orr marked the goal of the victory over a master key of Derek Sanderson at the end of 40 seconds of prolongation. The image of Orr flying in the airs, the arms raised in the air is one of the most famous images of hockey (and was preceded).
