Season LAH 1988-1989

The season 1988 - 89 of the American Ligue of hockey was the 53e season of the league. Fourteen teams played each one 80 matches of regular season. The Red Wings of Adirondack gain their third Coupe Calder.

The rule of the not granted to the team having lost in prolongation which had been founded in 1986-87 was removed.
