Season LAH 1982-1983

The season 1982 - 83 of the American Ligue of hockey was the 47e season of the league. Thirteen teams played each one 80 matches of regular season. The Americans of Rochester gained their fifth Coupe Calder.

Change of franknesses

the Jets of Sherbrooke integrate the league in Northern division.
the Saints of Saint Catharines integrate the league in Southern division.
the Hawks of New Brunswick are famous the Alpines of Moncton.
the Blades d' Érié amalgamate with the Skipjacks of Baltimore which evolved/moved in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League . They remain in Southern division but evolve/move under the name of Skipjacks.
the Indians de Springfield pass from Northern division to Southern division.
the Red Wings of Adirondack make the opposite way, passing from the South in North.
