Season LAH 1956-1957

The season 1956 - 57 of the American Ligue of hockey was the 21e season of the league. Six teams played each one 64 matches.

The Reds de Providence finished again better team of the regular season but in fact the Barons de Cleveland gained the Coupe Calder, the eighth of their history.

Change of frankness

The Hornets de Pittsburgh move with Rochester to become the Americans of Rochester. Indeed, them skating rink the Duquesne Gardens is too old to continue to accommodate matches of hockey.

Match of stars

The fourth match of stars is played the October 23rd 1956 with Providence. The champions in title, the Reds de Providence beat the team of stars of the league 4-0.
