Season LAH 1950-1951
The season 1950 - 51 of the American Ligue of hockey was the 15th season of the league. Ten teams divided into two divisions disputed the title.
The Barons de Cleveland gained their fifth Coupe Calder.
Change of frankness
- the Ramblers de New Haven change name and return to the previous model (changed into 1946): Eagles de New Haven .
- These same Eagles de New Haven stops their season after 28 disputed matches.
Regular season
Because of the stop of Eagles de New Haven in the course of season, the other teams did not play all the same number of matches.Classification

eliminatory Series
- the series between the first two teams of each division is played best of the seven matches. The winner is qualified directly for the final which is also played best of the seven matches.
- For the first time, all the other series are played best of the five matches (against 3 previous years).
