Season 5 of Columbo

Summarized : A ex-star of variety wants to organize his come-back. It counts on her husband, rich doctor with the retirement, to finance it. This last refuses. Summarized : Hassan Salah, a diplomatic representative of Suari, an imaginary State of the Gulf or Arabia, burglarizes her clean office. It joins an agent of the embassy, Rahmin Habib, keep silent the chief of safety by leaving evidence compromising it, then organizes that the aggression will seem to be occurred towards 16:00 by Habib, at one time when it is in the offices of the police force to arrange businesses of safety related to the next visit of their king. Summarized : A secret agent of the the CIA, " Geronimo " , remade surface near one of his/her colleague Nelson Brenner. They find a fun fair; Geronimo, under the false identity of A.J. Henderson, knows that Brenner has, in the past, diverted funds, and he asks his share, threatening all to tell with the director, Phil Corrigan. Brenner sets up a traffic to pay it where Geronimo must meet a contact on the beach. After the meeting, Brenner joined it and kills it. Columbo and one of his/her colleague are on the business. Thanks to a Photographer of the fun fair, it finds Brenner. During this time there, Phil Corrigan does not wish that Columbo inquire too much into their agents, and it orders in Brenner to put Columbo under monitoring.
Comment : Leslie Nielsen and David White (Alfred/Larry Touches in '' My beloved witch '', '' Bewitched '', 1964) play in this episode. It is Patrick McGoohan which directs and takes the role of the assassin. He is known for his title role in the series '' the Prisoner '' ('' The Prisoner '', 1967). Critics noticed many winks between this episode and the series '' the Prisoner ''. The first is obviously that it has the role of a spy, and that the title refers to a crisis of identity. One as notes in the scene of the fun fair as Brenner carries a costume to edging which evokes the blazer that it carries in its series, of the similar shoes, and that it says Be Seeing You twice: first once at the Photographer when it leaves it and second once at his place in Columbo which leaves by car (it are a recurring sentence at the Village of the series, in French: Hello on your premise ).

Résumé : With the Mexico, Shine Montoya, owner of a ranch and famous Matador, releases all its employees. Summarized : Large Santini, magician of cabaret, is victim of blackmail on behalf of the owner, Jesse Jerome, because he learned that he had been S during the war.
