Summarized : Viveca Scott is the owner is leading of a large company of Cosmétique, and its laboratory has just discovered a product which can make disappear the wrinkles. A young ambitious chemist steals the formula to propose it with the full price with Viveca; then it gives up selling it to him after having humiliated it. Of rage, it strikes it and kills it with a Microscope. On the spot of the crime, Columbo detects that a bottle which had been hidden is missing, which puts it on the track of Viveca. The secretary of the concurrent company that the chemist had contacted to resell his suspect formula there that Viveca killed it, and benefits from it to ask a management position the latter.
Comment : Several interesting scenes are in this episode. Initially, for the second Columbo time presents on the spot of the crime with a hard-boiled egg which it peels, because, he says, it jumped his breakfast. He also says that he always has a salt box in his pocket, contrary to today, and it is by seeking salt that he finds the mark of the stolen bottle. Résumé : Adrian Carsini, one of the largest experts oenologists, and wine producer of great quality, is on the point of receiving a price for his work. But his/her brother, Enrico, which is owner of the Vignoble decides to sell with a group of wine general public producer. Adrian strikes Enrico, transports it unconscious in its storeroom where it gives up it to die while it leaves one week to New York. With its return, it puts its behavior of to him plunger and balances it in the sea. When his body is found, the legist concludes with a shock during the plunged having struck it and left unconscious under water until exhaustion from the Oxygène. Summarized : A candidate with the Senate, Nelson Hayward, is not at ease with his adviser of countryside, Harry Stone, which makes it sing, and which requires of him to give up its mistress, Linda Johnson, the secretary of his wife. Nelson Hayward is under police protection after having received threats. Summarized : Dr. Bart Keppler, Enquiring in techniques of Publicity and advertizing film editor, has difficulties with its customer, Victor Norris, who threaten it to tell with the police force that it makes sing his customers with a model, Tanya. Keppler projects a film with the customer, a film of which it reads the text since the slides. It inserted subliminal images in film which make that the customer will leave the room for drinking. Keppler lets a recording of its voice say the text, leaves, kills Keppler, mask its weapon and takes again the place of narrator as so of nothing was not. Summarized : In an institute of scientific research, an Enquiring , Pr Nichols, comes to warn Dr. Marshall Cahill which his/her son, who is about to receive a price for his research in Chimie, has in fact stolen work of fire Dr. Finch. This evening there, Dr. Cahill carries out, since the room of the Ordinateur, the exercises of tactical soldiers by controlling a simulation which proceeds in the room of war. He programmed a Robot to control simulation in his place, and he will kill the pr. Nichols while everyone believes it in the orders of the Ordinateur. Comment : The Robot used is the same one as that of the film '' prohibited Planète '' ('' Forbidden Planet '', 1956): Robby the robot. In episode, it is handled by child Exceptionally gifted, Steve Spelberg , whose name comes from Steven Spielberg, which had directed episode 3 (1-1) the pilot Book ( Murder by the Book ), but which was not yet élèbre at the time.

Summarized : Tommy Brown is a singer of country and western. His Edna wife made him her career, on the basis of construction project of temple for which the concerts are used to collect funds.
