Season 2007-2008 of the RC Lens

The May 28th 2007, Francis Gillot, trainer of the RC Lens for 2 years, has left its station. The same day, Gervais Martel confirms the participation of the club in the Coupe Intertoto. After five days of championship, Guy Roux resigns of her post of trainer, feeling able to involve with the more high level. It is Jean-Pierre Papin which will replace it for the remainder of the season.

After the departure of its ex-mentor, Bonaventure Kalou leaves in its turn the RC Lens (the September 4th), and joined for 1.8 M€ the club of Al Jazira.

Beginning of the championship:
