Season 2006 Super 14

The season 2006 is the first of the Super 14, it succeeds the Super 12 and is disputed by 14 teams including two new franknesses: the Western Forces based in Perth (Australia), and Cheetahs de Bloemfontein (South Africa).

The competition began the February 10th, 2006 and finished the May 27th, 2006 by a final gained by the Crusaders against the Hurricanes.

The four first teams are qualified to dispute the demi-finales.
Brumbies, which was in the four first during thirteen days, are eliminated from the semi-finals after their defeat at the time the ultimate day.

The bulldozers obtain their qualification at the time of the ultimate day, preceding with the goal average Sharks and Brumbies.
