Search appendix

In the field of the Video game, and more precisely in the video games of role, a search appendix or under-search is an optional adventure, which proceeds in margin of the principal search.

Its principal goal is to prolong the Lifespan of a play, and with stronger reason that of the roleplays, category of plays which have one " lifespan; finie" and whose later re-use loses interest from the completion of the history (contrary to a play of sport, strategy or platform for example, in which the scenario is not the central point). This concept of facultativity is important, it makes it possible to the player to decide if this search is important for him or not. It gives a feeling of freedom.

The additional searches usually make it possible to the player to find new weapons and objects, which will help it to supplement its principal search. The purpose of other searches will be to make discover with the player of the unknown aspects of passed or the character of the characters.
