Sean Heuston

Sean Heuston (born the February 21st 1891 and dead the May 8th 1916) was an Irish rebel.

He took share with the Insurrection of Easter 1916. With 20 other people almost as young as him it holds during 2 days Mendicity Institution located on the Liffey. Its original mission was to hold this building during a few hours in order to contain the projection of the British troops.

He was shot on May 8th, 1916 inside the Prison of Kilmainham. He was the youngest rebel with being last by the weapons after the failure of the insurrection.

The principal station of Dublin bears its name in homage to its sacrifice.
