The sea of Bellingshausen is a sea of the Antarctic Ocean.
She is baptized name of the admiral and exploring Russian Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen, which discovered the the Antarctic in 1820.
Located at the west of the Peninsula the Antarctic, it extends until the sea from Amundsen, skirting the coast Eights and the coast Bryan in front of the ground of Ellsworth. The principal islands bathed by this sea are the island Alexandre-I {{er}} and the island Thurston.
