SeaQuest, police force of the seas ( seaQuest DSV then seaQuest 2032 ) is a Televised series American in two 90 minutes episodes and 55 43 minutes episodes, created by Rockne O' Bannon and diffused between the September 12th 1993 and the June 9th 1996 on the network NBC. In France, the series was diffused starting from the July 9th 1995 on TF1.

The series will leave finally in DVD to France on February 26th, 2008.

Synopsis

In 2018, whereas the men practically exhausted all the natural resources of the Ground, of the colonies were established at the bottom of the Océan S. These colonies being an object of desire on behalf of several nations and corporations, a Sous-marin hyper-sophisticated, ordered by Nathan Bridger, is charged to protect them.

Comments

Produced by Steven Spielberg, this series was not the success hoped by its creators. One reproached him his lacks of imagination and expatriation, elements essential to a series of science fiction of quality, as well as the weakness of his scenarios.

Tired of its role and having a presentiment of the end close to the series, Roy Scheider leaves it at the end of the second season.

Renamed seaQuest 2032 at the beginning of the third season and enriched by new characters, the series still does not find its public and NBC cancels it after thirteen episodes.
