A Dorade is a Air intake of a Bateau; it is not a question of a mark but of the name of a sailing ship of Olin Stephens, Dorade , where they were initially installed. One also speaks about “Dorade box”.

This aerator is appeared as an autonomous unit comprising a cylinder bent to approximately 90° in order to form a baffle, and directional in order to profit from the wind or contrary to avoiding the entry of spray; on the sailing S current, it is generally included in an integrated system of ventilation.
