Scred Connection

The Scred Connection (" scred" is the verlan of " discret") of French Rap is a collective which was formed at the end of the Nineties. This collective was initially composed of Fabe , Koma , Haroun , Mokless and Morad and with the assistance of Butch (an activist of the hip-hop in charge of graphics and merchandizing)

Originating in Barbs of the 18th district of Paris, it is Koma which leaves the first time the word Scred on its first maximum Time insane . Then the collective left so far 4 albums: Scred Selexion 99/2000 , Scred Selexion 2 , Of the evil to entrust and Scred Selexion 3 - Special Mokless . The concept of collective includes/understands the fact that each MC are independent and that they meet to form the " Scred".

Fabe stopped the rap to make studies of theology in Canada and thus left the group. In spite of the fact that this emblematic figure of the " Scred connection" and more largely of the French rap left the collective more snuffed of the 75018, the latter had the merit to rebound and this thanks to their authenticity. Because if the 4 pals never deviated from the good way it is probably due to their mythical slogan: " Never in the tendency but always in good the direction"

The Scred Connection describes what they see like problems of part of the French company. An engaged collective, they militate for a company righter without preaching the Violence but an evolution of mentalities.

According to some, they would be characterized by quality from their texts and the values which they preach (in particular the texts happiness , with what one saw , easy money , how they make and remballe , last piece in which they make fun of the surface rappor who leaves side a fundamental value: the form.
