Scoubidou

The Scoubidou is a Tocade beginning of the Années 1960, which re-appeared in the Années 1980. Using pipes in plastic flexible of millimetre-length section , one braids interminable coloured rolls - square or polygonal, right or twisted - which can be used in Carry-key S Kitsch.

History

The name of scoubidou comes from an onomatopoeia taken to the singers of American jazz, scoo Bi doo Bi dooh ah!

In France, the scoubidous are made famous thanks to the singer Sacha Distel and to its title " Apples, pears, and scoubidous…! " in the Years 1960.
