Scotty Moore
Winfield Scott "Scotty" Moore III (born on December 27th, 1931 close to Gadsden, Tennessee) is a legendary guitarist American belonging to the the Pantheon Rock' roll. It is especially known to have accompanied Elvis Presley in the first part of its career, between 1954 and the beginnings of the year of Elvis with Hollywood. Scotty Moore learned how to play of the guitar with its family and the friends as of the eight years age. Engaged very young person in the American navy, it remained there of 1948 with 1952. Moore first of all knew the Jazz and the music Country. Fan of the guitarist Chet Atkins, Moore was the leader of a group named " Starlite Wranglers" , under contract with Sun Records, when Sam Phillips made him meet Elvis Presley then still adolescent. In 1954, Moore and the bass player Bill Black accompgné Elvis in what will become the first legendary success of Elvis " That' S All right (Mama) " , a recording considered as precursor in the history of the rock' roll. Elvis, Black and Scotty Moore then formed the " group; Blue Moon boys". They were then joined by beater D.J. Fontana. " Blue Moon boys" started in July 1954 a series of recordings and a round through all the south of the United States. During the advent of the popularity of Elvis, their round extended to all United States and they made several appearances in various television programs and several films of Elvis. Moore exploited a great number of the most famous discs of Elvis like " Good Rockin' Tonight" , Baby Let' S Play House" , " Heartbreak Hotel" , Mystery Train" , Hound dog" , " Too Much" and Jailhouse Rock" with the " group; The Jordanaires ". In the Years 1960, Moore left an album solo entitled " The Guitar That Exchanges The World". It took part in the special televised spectacle of the chain NBC " Elvis Presley' S 68 Comeback Special".
With Elvis Presley, Moore started by playing on a guitar Gibson ES-295 , before passing to Gibson L5 then to Super Gibson 400 .
The contribution of pioneer of Moore was recognized by the " Rockabilly Hall off fame" and the " Rock'n'roll Hall off fame".
