Scott Murray

Scott Murray , born the January 15th 1976 in Musselburgh (Scotland) is a player of Rugby to XV Scottish which played with the team of Scotland since 1997, evolving/moving at the station of second line.

Biography

This former player of tennis shoe is famous for his aptitudes in key. He currently plays with Edinburgh Rugby, a provincial selection Scottish which takes part in the Celtic League. Previously he played with Preston Lodge, Edinburgh Academicals, Bedford Blues and Saracens. He will evolve/move with the US Montauban as from the season 2007-2008.

After having been five times replacing in the team of Scotland in 1996, it knew its first international cape the June 17th 1997 with Murrayfield against the team of Zimbabwe, then its first test match the November 22nd 1997 against the team of Australia.

It took part in the Tournoi of the five/six nations of 1999 to 2007 (series in progress).

Murray took part in the world cup 1999 (4 played matches, beaten in quarterfinal) and 2003 (3 played matches, beaten in quarterfinal). It was four times captain of the team of Scotland

He played with the British Lions at the time of their round in Australia in 2001.
