Scorpinor

Scorpinor is a character of the series Animutants. To note that, in the VO, its name is Scorponok, name also carried by a character of the original series Transformers. The scenario writers of the film Transformers recognized that the character of Scorponok which appears in film was rather inspired by Scorpinor.

History

Season 1

Scorpinor formed part, with Dinobot, Tarentula, Byznator and Terrosaure of the prédators which accompanied Mégatron on board the vessel Darkside . When this one was crushed, it had to take an animal mode to survive, and chooses that of Scorpion. After the desertion from Dinobot, it was named second by Mégatron.
During all the series, Scorpinor served Mégatron with devotion, holding head in Terrosaure when this one seized the power and being used the cause of its Master for all the occasions. It developed even a competition with Inferno, which competed with its place to him.

Season 2

Scorpinor briefly appears in season 2, where it assists with the destruction of primal Optimus. He dies however a few moments after, when the radiations emitted by the explosion of the vessel of Voks makes it fall into the lava with Terrosaure. Its death involves the nomination of Inferno as a second of the prédators.

Description

Character

The feature which characterizes before any Scorpinor is its fidelity towards Mégatron: he fantiquement is fantiquement devoted to him, defending it, obeying to him the least order and fascinating care of him if he is in bad posture (see " the energy of énergon").
Unfortunately, its mental leaves something to be desired: there remains fixed in front of the defense system maximals instead of fleeing, and goes souvant ridicule.
It is also an inventor and a scientist, but, contrary to Tarentula, it really does not seem talented, and the majority of its inventions function badly: thus, the " Cyberabeille" , machine intended to make of primal Optimus a couard, transforms the maximum chief into true insane-furious who tackles with him only the base prédator.

Weapons

The weapons of Scorpinor include its grips, which, in robot mode, become its hands, and incorporate frightening missile launchers. It has also its tail, which is placed in its back and can carry blows to the body to body.
