Scissiparity
see also: Etymology of Scissiparity
The reproduction by scissiparity is a mode of asexual multiplication which is carried out simply by division of the organization.
Various organizations are fissiparous, such:
- the Bacterium S (for example, the Rickettsia )
- Entameba histolytica (a Protiste which is a intestinal Parasite of the Man)
- Pyrodictium abyssi , a Archée Anaérobie marine Thermophile.
- Schizosaccharomyces millet beer , (a Yeast)
The Peroxysome S (metabolic compartments intervening in the decomposition of the lipids, and producing Hydrogen peroxide H2O2, extremely toxic) present in the cells also multiply by scissiparity.
