Scientific model

A scientific model is a representation of what one cannot see directly for various reasons.

It helps the scientists to conceive, analyze or imagine scientific concepts. The scientific community does not get along however on the delimitation of the concept of “scientific model” and that of “scientific theory”. But, in a total way, one can say that both are used (see essential) in all the branches of sciences.
