Schools of the police station of the Army

The Écoles of the police station of the Army (shortened in ECAT) were a military academy Commissariat of the Army which existed with Montpellier between on April 1st 1984 and on July 1st 2001, before changing name and becoming the higher Military academy of administration and management (EMSAM). It was made up of two divisions, from where the plural of its name:

• School of the police station of the Army (ECAT), itself;
• Military academy of administration (EMMA),

each one having its own military flag. The ECAT trained the police chiefs of the Army while the EMMA trained officers of the technical and administrative Corps.
