School of Ispahan
The School of Ispahan مكتباصفهان|Maktab-e Esfahān indicate a current of religious thought born in the capital safavide of the Iran - Ispahan - at the 17th century, usually qualified rebirth of ic philosophy Islam.
Private interest of Abbas Shah 1st for the artistic life, and the religious thought makes of Ispahan the greatest Iranian intellectual center of the time, where many philosophical and theological currents innovative open out. Among the founders of the school of Isfahan, one finds Sheikh Bahai, Mir Fendereski, or Mir Damad.
Philosophers like Molla Sadra Shirazi, Rajab' Ali Tabrizi, or Qazi Its' id Qommi count among the influential thinkers representing this “school”.
