School freudienne of Paris

The School freudienne of Paris (EFP), in the past French School of psychoanalysis , was the greatest group of psychoanalysis founded by Jacques Lacan, which pronounced its seminars there. It was dissolved, following an internal vote, in 1980.

History

In 1964, the French company of psychoanalysis is dissolved. Jacques Lacan then founds the School freudienne of Paris. Quickly Piera Aulagnier is named analyst of the school.

In 1967, Lacan proposes the procedure of the passes. Piera Aulagnier is opposed to it. The procedure is officialized in 1969; Piera Aulagnier, François Perrier and Jean-Paul Valagebra separates from the EFP and creates the Psychoanalytical Organization of French language (OPLF).

In 1978, Juan David Nasio opens with the EFP its own seminar.

In 1980, Jacques Lacan makes appear in Le Monde an article pronouncing the dissolution of the EFP. There was vote then, indeed, dissolution. The movement lacanien since much more is burst, present in many groups.

Specificities

Analysis

Among the concepts stated by Jacques Lacan, some touch with the framework even psychoanalytical Cure - to start with its bottom. Indeed, the analyst interpète by considering a primacy of the meaning, in order not to lose itself in its clean imaginary. The other analysts would thus fail themselves in a risked psychologisation, ignorant of the clean speech of the Analyzing.

The transfer and the Contre-transfert are conceived like arbitrary divisions of the same phenomenon. Is a point of importance the Désir of the analyst, proposing the role of the analyst like good distant from one (hypocritical?) benevolent Neutrality.

The meeting can be curtailed; Lacan left the open door, allowing the patients in the waiting room to intend what was said - that in order to reveal with each one the desire, to more be able to be unaware of it, bases of a true work on resistances.

Didactic formation

For Lacan, the traditional opposition between simple psychoanalysis and didactic formation concern the error: it is about only one and even thing. The analyst is trained to hear the desire.

Lacan proposed in 1967 the procedure of the passes, which was applied thereafter. It consisted in being able to judge training of an analyst in order to integrate it into the school freudienne. Lacan recognized later this procedure like a failure.
