The École Emile Cohl , located street Paul-Bert at Lyon is a private school approved by the State delivering an approved title of level II. Founded in 1984 per Philippe River and Roland Andrieu, it bears the name of Emile Cohl , pseudonym of Emile Courtet, French draftsman considered as the inventor of the Cartoon, and forms with the trades of the Infographie, of the Dessin of press, the Cartoon, the illustration and the Cinéma of animation. The school also exempts an continuing education in Sculpture, Dessin of observation, alive Modèle, Infographie 3D, and organizes training courses of Cartoon and workshops of the evening.
