Schistosoma intercalatum is worms parasitic dish, pertaining to the junction of the Plathelminthes (towards not segmented dishes), to the class of the Trématodes (digestive system with cæcum), to the order of the Strigeatida (suction cups ventral and oral),) the family of the Schistosomatidés (cercaires free) and finally with the kind Schistosoma, because the final host is a mammal.

He is responsible for the Bilharziose, in his rectal and genital form.
