Manigance is a group of Power metal and Heavy traditional metal French, formed in the area of Pau per François Merle (ex Killers) and Daniel Pouylau in 1995.

Music and Remarks

  • Their characteristic is to sing only in French (or almost), which is extremely rare in a musical style mainly anglophone. Their compositions privilege the melody speed via a fast rate/rhythm and very technical soli sometimes. One notes also texts engaged such as " The last hommage" against the urbanization, " As of my retour" against the dysfunction of justice, " Finally délivré" denouncing the cupidity of mentalities.

  • the first version of Signs of life does not comprise keyboards, they will not arrive, with Florent Taillandier that on Ange Or Demon.

  • the version remasterized when with it is dedicated to Vincent Mouyen (ex Jumper Lace), guitarist on the first version, deceased of a brain tumor in 2001. This version comprises 2 anglophone pieces (Curry One has Flame (All The King' S Horses being the introduction of the piece) Canadian group Triumph) and Believer, alone anglophone composition of the group to date; as well as a video of a resumption of Magic spell, Messenger, with Christian Augustin in guest.
