The Schématisme is a pictorial movement born with the beginning of the year 1960, still alive. It was founded by Robert Estivals, Jacques Caux, Jean-Charles Gaudy and Gabrielle Vergez. With beginning of the year 70, G. Vergez left the group and was replaced by Luciano Lattanzi.
Schematism is presented in the form of a movement of Avant-garde. Its ambition is to create a new pictorial language founded on the laws of Schematization. Works are built according to strict rules. There is always primacy of the direction. A central figure summarizes the matter; cartouches develop it; symbols refine the parts of speech; dynamic components guide the reading and structure the unit.
Schematism was deliberately placed apart from the market of Article That did not prevent it from presenting a very great number of exposures, both in France and in Europe. Next retrospective with Correggio (Italy) in May - June 2007.
