The Scenes of children (of Kinderszenen) , COp 15, are a work for Piano of Robert Schumann written in 1838.
The partition goes back to one tormented period of the life of the musician, thus contrasting with the alleviated character of work, where Schumann, in love with Clara Wieck, is seen refusing its hand by his/her father. This year also sees being born several masterpieces pianistic of which its Kreisleriana .
The titles were given only a posteriori by the type-setter.
It is made up of thirteen short parts and its execution asks for about fifteen of minutes.
