Scenari is a software continuation free (with libraries owners) of design and use of leading chains for the multi-media creation of documents.

The languages used are Xul/Javascript for the graphical interface and Java for the internal part. The documents of the author are recorded in XML and are treated by transformations XSLT.

Principles

A leading Chaîne is a technological and methodological process, resulting from research in documentary engineering. The approach consists in carrying out a model of document, assisting the tasks of creation of the contents and automating their working.

Scenari is intended to the people confronted with the following problems:

• To mark the identity of an organization: the author is constrained to publish documents with a structure and a homogeneous graphic charter, this information being preset in a documentary model.
• To diffuse contents under various formats: the contents are seized only once in the interface author, but the formats of publications are multiple.
• To maintain the documents up to date: when the contents must be changed, there is only one data source to update.

The approach is different from the method Bureautique known as " artisanale".

SCENARIdiscovery is a program making it possible to discover the world of the leading chains.

Choose a model of document among the 6 proposed in example:

• CV
• report/ratio
• slideshow (diaporama)
• presentation of company
• teacher training or webradio

Then, use the graphic editor integrated WYSIWYM, which will record your information. SCENARIdiscovery exploits then these data XML to generate the documents with the formats of your choice: Web site, file paper, flash presentation.
