Scatological humor

The scatological humor (of the Greek skôr : excrement and logos : word) indicates writings or remarks referring to the Excrément S.

By extension, the term scatologic is sometimes used to indicate:

  • of the remarks and the coarse writings.
  • a joke based on the " wee caca".

The word scatological humor is often employed as a synonym of the Scatophilie (or Coprophilie).

In Medicine, the Coprolalie is one of the symptoms of the Maladie of Gilles of Tourette, it is a tic of the language which consists in saying in an unusual way of the coarse or vulgar words.

In sexology

The word scatological humor is often employed as a synonym of the Scatophilie (or Coprophilie), term describing at the same time a psychiatric disease and a consistent Paraphilie to have a sexual excitation in connection with excrements.
