A scarecrow is a Mannequin, generally made of a reinforcement of Bois or of Osier and covered with let us haillons so as to resemble a human being, which one draws up in a Jardin or a field to frighten the Oiseau X and to thus prevent them from devouring the Graine S and the Fruit S. For the birds, the scarecrow was sometimes a driving bolt, sometimes a perch.
In fact, they frighten the youngest birds, but oldest only a few hours put to include/understand, at least for the species more intelligent.
Used a long time by the farmers, as well in the East as in occident, the modern farmers have from now on recourse to more effective subterfuges.
