History

In spite of two fusions and two changes of company name, the Scania house of today is downward direct of the company founded in 1891 and named Vagnfabriks-Aktiebolaget I Södertelge (Vabis). Trademark: Until 1911, the marks were respectively Vabis and Scania (Maskinfabriksaktiebolaget Scania I Malmö). From the fusion of 1911 until the Scania Program of 1968: Scania-Vabis.
