Scalded Hébélome
The hébélome scalded , or more literally the hébélome crust-of-bread ( Hebeloma crustuliniforme ) is a Champignon Basidiomycète of Bolbitiacée S, at one time of the Cortinariacée S.
Description
- Hat 5 to 10 cm, convex then spread out but remaining mamelonné, white-ocher with reddish, more clearly with the margin, viscous in wet weather.
- tightened enough Blades , notched, blanchâtres browning by the sporée ocher. They cover translucent brownish droplets in wet weather.
- Foot 5 to 10 cm, russet-red blanchâtre stained downwards, a little bulbous ones at the base.
- Flesh rather thick, white. Odor of Radish and bitter savor .
Habitat
Enough common in summer and autumn under leafy trees or conifers, it can push in many troops along the ways, of the ditches, even in the lawns.Edibility
Though less poison that its neighbor the extreme hébélome ( Hebeloma sinapizans ), it acts of a species without interest and to reject, being able to appear very indigestible. See the list of toxic mushrooms.Close species and possible confusions
The species nearest is Hebeloma sinapizans , more solid mass, one can also quote Hebeloma mesophaeum , Hebeloma strophosum or Hebeloma radicans . The Hébélome S are interesting for the Sylviculture but none is edible .One will take care not to take these hébélomes for Tricholome S. For the scalded hébélome, the odor of radish and the tanning of the blades makes it possible to avoid confusion.
