Scaffolding

A scaffolding is a temporary Construction consisted of bridges, footbridges or platforms supported by a Charpente out of wood, Acier or Aluminum. It is intended to give access of the craftsmen of the material in all points of a building to be built or repair.

It is broken up into 3 distinct categories: fix, suspended or travelling.

The fixed scaffolding themselves is divided into 3 categories:

  • scaffolding of frontage;
  • multidirectional scaffolding;
  • scaffolding bricklayers.

The scaffolding knew many technical evolutions during the last years in particular of the fact in Europe of the evolution of the regulation (N°2004-924 Decree of the 9/1/2004) and the publication of new European standards. In the absence of European directive, marking IT does not exist for the scaffolding. On the other hand, in France, a reference frame MARKS NF exists to compensate for this absence.
