Sayri Tupac
Sayri Túpac is a INCA Quechua, wire of Manco INCA, but which did not have the spirit of fight of his/her father. He succeeded this last in 1545 after his assassination following a treason.
Convinced by one of its close relations who was faithful to the interests of the conquerors, it chooses to be subordinated to the crown of Spain, at the time of a voyage to Lima. N the other hand, it obtained certain privileges and of the grounds extending on the current districts from Yucay, of Urubamba, Maras and Chicheros.
It was made build dried a stone brick palate with Yucay.
He died in 1560, perhaps poisoned by Quechuas which still resisted the Conquistadors.
After his death, his/her brother Titu Kusi Yupanqui succeeded to him.
