Geography
History
Formerly, Sayat belonged to " Saint-Vincent-the-Blanzat" who consisted of Blanzat and Sayat. Finally, in 1776, Sayatois decided to build their clean church; thus, with the Revolution, they could have their own commune. Work lasted two years and the church was completed in 1789.
One finds there today the Château of Féligonde which was at one time a strong house belonging to Antoine de Brion in 1606, then transformed and restored under Louis XIII.
