Saxon John
Saxon John , born the August 5th 1935, is an American actor of origin Italy.
Biography
John Saxon was born Carmine Orrico , wire of Antonio and Anna Orrico, with Brooklyn, New York. He studies the comedy with the famous actress and dramatic professor Stella Adler, and launches out then in the cinema in the middle of the Années 1950, interpreting roles of teenager. According to Robert Hofler in its biography of Henry Wilson in 2005 " The Man Who Invented Hudson Rock'n'roll: The Pretty Servant boys and Dirty Deals off Henry Willson" , the Wilson agent saw the photograph of Orrico on the cover of a magazine and immediately contacted the family of the boy in Brooklyn. It took along the boy then 16 years old to Hollywood, and Saxon baptized it.At the beginning of its career, Saxon worked with prestigious realizers, whose Vincente Minnelli, Blake Edwards, John Huston, Frank Borzage, and Otto Preminger, but in spite of that, it never rose with the rank of major actor. It appeared first of all in supporting roles, and was nominated with the Golden Globes for the better actor in a supporting role for his role in the film Opération dragon , with Bruce Lee in the main role. In 1975, it plays in some episodes of the series worship the man who was worth three billion , incarnating the character of the Major Frederick Sloan . This character and this role will be also included in the series Super Jaimie .
John Saxon also appears in several Italian films, mainly in westerns spaghetti and films police officer. Later, Saxon will be made known in film supporting roles of horror to success, in particular Black Christmas of Bob Clark in 1974, Ténèbres of Dario Argento in 1982, or in the claws of the night of Wes Craven in 1984.
