Savoy Ballroom

The Savoy Ballroom is a concert hall and a dance hall located in the district of Harlem in New York. It was in activity of 1926 to 1958 and was located between the 140e and 141e street on the Lenox avenue. Contrary to the Knitting machine Club, Savoy Ballroom was opened to the black customers . Among the large musicians who passed to Savoy Ballroom appears Louis Armstrong.
