Savor

One calls savor the feeling produced by certain soluble molecules present in solid foods or liquid on the body of the taste consisted the Langue and the Taste buds.

One generally distinguishes four fundamental savors which are: savor sweetened, salted, Acid and bitter to which savor " is added; Umami " (savor which corresponds to the sodium monoglutamate) and others like the Réglisse.

Receivers of taste making it possible to distinguish four fundamental savors are laid out on the language:

  • sweetened is placed on the end of the language
  • acidity is always perceived on the sides of the language
  • salted, him, is beside acid savor
  • the land-mark is at the bottom of the language (what is called the barrier of the land-mark).
